eMarketSouth began in 1999 as a dynamic, database-driven website design and hosting firm and registered as a Georgia LLC in January of 2000.

In 2001, the company began developing rapid deployment software modules to address essential e-business functions. These designs allow eMarketSouth clients to manage e-commerce inventory and prices, update content, capture market-specific user data from online forms, and share information across multiple platforms through secure data transfer. In December 2003, eMarketSouth signed a management agreement with WebSavannah allowing current and future clients to enjoy a wider array of e-business products and benefit from the combination of resources of the individual companies. The newly formed company retained the name eMarketSouth with the WebSavannah moniker used for the Internet access division.
